10 years of Caser Foundation, 10 years of Dependency and Society Awards
In its 10th edition, the Caser Foundation awards recognize the best initiatives in terms of dependency and/or disability in different categories: Excellence, R+D and Communication, have a nationwide character and are born with the aim of encouraging and recognizing the work of people and bodies that work to promote autonomy, integration and improvement of quality of life of people with disabilities and / or dependency, as well as support for their families and caregivers, contributing at the same time, and through its dissemination, to the information and awareness of society.
At MJN we are proud to receive the award in the R+D category with the development of our device to help people with epilepsy by warning before an epileptic seizure.
Currently in the world, there is no validated system that allows people with epilepsy to manage the uncertainty caused by the fact that a seizure is unpredictable. Since 2012 at MJN we are working on the development of a wearable system that helps to eliminate as much as possible this uncertainty in the lives of these people, and those around them.
Currently, we are taking the last steps to obtain the medical device EC mark to be, in the shortest time possible, a reality that enables us to improve the quality of life of so many people and families living with epilepsy.
