Last Saturday, July 3rd, was my birthday, already 63! This year there was no family reunion because my granddaughters were going with their mother and their other grandparents to the beach just that same day and my youngest son is in Barcelona. The girls’ father stayed alone in Madrid and we also left him. My husband and I felt like a trip to disconnect, and we went to Asturias.
The center of operations was Taramundi. We stayed at a rural hotel called La Rectoral, which is really nice. We made many excursions to Vegadeo, Ribadeo, Castropol, and we walked around Taramundi. A real relax.
“I am very excited, and I hope to write an interesting book, one that is not boring and that can help people”
And I wanted to tell you that I have another project in hand. The point is not to stand still. I have always liked writing, but I do it intuitively, I have never done any course and I wanted to improve my technique. Many times, I have thought about taking a course or a writing workshop, but I never felt like it because they had a very high price. Finally, a month ago, I saw in networks an autobiography workshop at the Carmen and Gervasio Posadas School and I thought: “If giving talks, writing my small contributions in MJN, doing interviews on the radio, I can help people with epilepsy to better understand what it is to live with epilepsy, maybe it would not be a bad idea to write my biography, telling everything I have lived, how I have lived it, how I have come out ahead, what life I have led and to reach a larger number of people”. So I signed up for the workshop and have already started. I am very excited, and I hope to write an interesting book, one that is not boring and that can help people.
The political course ends now in July. So I am taking advantage of this and I am also taking a vacation from my collaboration with MJN and I will start publishing again in September.
I hope that you are all fully vaccinated, that you can rest for a few days and, above all, that you will be careful and prudent. See you when I get back.
